Following the recent appointment of James Hawkins as Dentsu APAC chief digital officer, Dentsu Aegis has launched a new Singapore-based agency combining creative, tech and media.
Digital specialist Dentsu Möbius will combine forces with global media agency Dentsu.media to form Dentsu Mobius Media (DM2), led by Hawkins, who was previously chief executive at Dentsu Möbius in Asia.
“The lines between digital and traditional are fading fast, content is now the connector,” said Hawkins. “That’s why DM2 represents this future state, where the two are no longer mutually exclusive.
“This move enables us to deliver work faster, smarter and create more impact for our clients. This creates the perfect balance of creative, media and technology for the digital economy.”
DM2 will start with around 50 staff, with the intention to hire more. The combined client list includes Toyota, Disney, Mondelēz International, Singapore Airlines and Hitachi.
