This year’s M&M Global Awards ceremony will be hosted by Scottish comedian Alun Cochrane, a regular panellist on TV shows Mock the Week and 8 out of 10 Cats, and a co-host on Absolute Radio.

Cochrane will lead the event, held at Grosvenor House on 8 September, giving out awards across a range of categories spanning the industry.

Guests can enjoy a red carpet welcome reception, with the full celebrity experience of being invasively photographed by our overly enthusiastic team of paparazzi.

There will be bottomless fizz on arrival to loosen up tongues as UK and Ireland host of E! Entertainment Sabrina Chakici interviews the best dressed arriving guests, who stand the chance of being presented with £250 worth of Selfridges vouchers and E! goodie bags.

If the vodka luge isn’t to your taste, NBC Universal will be serving a range of cocktails including the ‘Universal Channel’, the ‘E!’, the ‘SYFY’ and the ‘Jimmy Fallon’. There will also be a Halcyon zone with 3D drawings, with the most popular selfie winning an Oculus Rift VR Headset.
