Watson, who is promoted from her current post as chief strategy officer for BBH New York, will work alongside global CEO Neil Munn and worldwide chief creative officer Pelle Sjoenell.

Watson first joined BBH – now part of Publicis Groupe – 14 years ago, though did spend a couple of years as head of planning at DDB London. She has led the development of work for clients including PlayStation, Netflix, Seamless, Johnnie Walker and Cole Haan.

Munn said: “[Watson] brings a wealth of brand experience, lots of creative ambition, and a very progressive view of marketing and business. She is the embodiment of The Black Sheep.”

Watson added: “For me, BBH isn’t a job, it’s more like a calling. BBH is founded on the power of having the three different voices of creative, account management and strategy shaping the work. I am immensely proud to be part of the team taking this into the next generation.”
