The win, valued at $20m, will see Havas Media run the Beats account across EMEA,  with a specialist team of “builders and buyers” headed up by Havas Group head of creative media Nick Wright. Key markets including the UK, France and Germany will be controlled from the UK Havas Village.

“This win is particularly significant for Havas Media because it represents the first new account to come into the Havas Village in Kings Cross,” said Havas Media UK and International chief executive Matt Adams.

“Since coming together under one roof and one P&L, Havas can now offer clients a unique way of working that includes a blend of media and creative expertise to really drive their business and take advantage of the very latest innovation, technology and trends.”

Havas pitched against 7stars and OMD, while WPP’s Maxus, the incumbent, did not re-pitch for the business.

The review does not affect Beats’ creative agency relationships in the UK, where the brand works with R/GA London and Anomaly London.
