Chris Chiu is returning to Leo Burnett Singapore as chief creative officer after three years of running his own business.
Chiu is the founder and chief creative officer of Ren Partnership. According to an interview with Marketing, existing clients of the agency will continue to be serviced under the Ren name.
Chiu will conduct all business pitches through Leo Burnett come April, and some of his current staff at Ren will join the Leo Burnett team.
Chiu told Marketing: “It has been a fantastic three years of learning and I just had to take this opportunity to join the Leo Burnett team when it came by.”
Chiu will report to Leo Burett’s APAC boss Jarek Ziebinksi. He first started the Ren Partnership agency in 2012 following 11 years of working with Leo Burnett.
The news follows the announcement earlier this week that Danny Mok is to replace Donald Chan as the new chief executive of Leo Burnett China.
