Coca-Cola has appointed Dentsu Aegis Network China as its media agency of record to drive media planning and buying across the country.
The business will be supported by dedicated, integrated in-house team, Dentsu Coca-Cola Community, according to reports.
“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to work with The Coca-Cola Company in China and to create a unique team solution that will enable TCCC to access all of our capabilities,” said Dentsu Aegis Network China group managing director Phil Teeman.
The Coca-Cola Company Greater China media director Michelle Yang added that the network was chosen after assessing proposals from various agencies.
“Dentsu Aegis Network has proven media integration capabilities and digital savvy leadership to help drive paid media planning and buying covering TV, out-of-home, digital and paid social media,” said Yang.
“We look forward to working with them to create some great work together.”
In September, Dentsu Aegis opened its first ‘Global Data Innovation Centre’ in Singapore, to lead the development of “next generation technologies” and solve business challenges.
