Kantar Media Audiences appoints Asquith as CEO
Kantar Media Audiences has appointed Richard Asquith as its global chief executive.

Asquith will transfer from his role as chief executive of Kantar Media’s TGI & Custom division in August, and take over from Richard Marks who leaves the WPP-owned company after eight years in the role to set up a consultancy business.

In his current role, Asquith has helped develop Kantar Media’s international network of TGI studios, which now has a presence in 68 countries.

Asquith is a member of the executive editorial board of the International Journal of Market Research and prior to joining Kantar, Asquith was managing director of BMRB for five years.

“Richard Asquith is a well-known figure within the Kantar Media family and has a great track record leading several of Kantar Media’s most successful services. He has the perfect blend of skills and personality for the role and I am confident that he will build on the excellent momentum that has been established in our Audiences business,” says Kantar Media chief executive Jean-Michel Portier.

Kantar Media currently works with 22,000 companies tracking 3 million brands in 50 countries.
