PROFILE
Metro targets young, active metropolitans, men and women, aged 18 to 44 years. Its readers are typically early adopters, cash rich, and time poor; most live by the philosophy of ‘work hard, play hard’. Metro was awarded the title of ‘Newspaper of the Year 2009’ at the Festival of Media Awards. Over the past 12 months, new editions have been launched in Moscow, Monterrey, Mexico and Ecuador. In addition to entering new markets, this year Metro rolled-out a new global design and layout. 2010 will bring expansion into more emerging markets, along with continued focus on, and development of, Metro’s online and mobile offerings.
