Dentsu Aegis Network has promoted Ruth Stubbs to lead its iProspect business globally, following the departure of predecessor Ben Wood to Facebook.
Singapore-based Stubbs steps up from her role as chief executive of iProspect Asia Pacific, and, as global president, will work alongside senior teams in the US, EMEA and Asia.
She joined iProspect in 2011, having previously held leadership roles at Mediabrands, GroupM Interaction Asia Pacific and Euro RSCG Worldwide.
Wood announced in May that he would be departing iProspect to join Facebook as director of agencies for Facebook across the EMEA region, where he reports to Facebook’s global director of agency development Patrick Harris.
Dentsu Aegis Network global CEO Jerry Buhlmann said: “With Ruth’s strong leadership driving the outstanding growth of iProspect Asia Pacific over the past five years she was the standout choice for the role. I am confident Ruth’s experience and tenacity will make her a great addition to the global Brand Board and take iProspect to the next level for our clients.”
Stubbs added: “Due to the pace and complexity of the digital economy, brands are looking for even greater value and expertise in delivering positive business outcomes. As the leader in global digital performance, iProspect is committed to building relevant, scalable value-based solutions for our clients.
“This will be my primary focus, made possible by our passionate and talented people around the world. This will be the direction driven by our global, regional and local leadership, supported by our unique operating model.”
iProspect said it will announce a successor to lead the business in Asia Pacific in “the coming months”.
