Havas Creative Group includes agency brands such as Havas Worldwide, Havas Health, Arnold and BETC.

Starting on 17 October, Amour will be responsible for “leading and driving continued collaboration and growth” across the APAC. He will report to Andrew Benett, global CEO of Havas Creative Group, and will be based in Singapore.

He takes over from Juan Rocamora, who will retire at the end of the year.

“[Amour’s] is a visionary leader with a track record of driving transformation, and I’m confident his leadership will further accelerate the Group’s performance in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Benett. “He is a true internationalist with unique experience across different communications disciplines and developing markets.”

Amour added: “I am excited to be joining a company where clients can access a truly integrated service offering. The network’s Village model is a significant competitive advantage, and I look forward to leveraging it fully to make Havas an indispensable partner to brands in the region.”

Amour left his previous role earlier this year, in the wake of Starcom Mediavest Group being disbanded and its agencies being reformed within Publicis Media. In the past, he has held senior roles at agencies including Grey Group, McCann, TBWA and Wieden + Kennedy.
