Former Starwood Hotels and American Express executive Catalano joins from her current position as Google’s head of APAC agency business. Starting in January, she replaces Ruth Stubbs, who last month took over as iProspect’s global chief executive.

Nick Waters, chief executive of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific, said: “[Catalano] is an outstanding candidate and a clear choice for the role with her deep specialist knowledge and strong leadership qualities.

“There are significant opportunities for growth in the performance sector and we have big ambitions for the iProspect business. There will be a smooth management transition as Ruth moves into the Global CEO role and develops the full agency leadership team.”

Stubbs added: “[Catalano] brings a depth of experience in business development across the performance marketing ecosystem but most importantly, she understands the emerging landscape, the challenges our clients are facing and how we are positioned to address them.”

Misty Locke, CMO at iProspect, explains why the agency decided to place its employees at the heart of its content marketing campaign.
