Havas Media Group enters global partnership with Facebook’’s Atlas

Havas Media Group has agreed a global partnership with Atlas, Facebook’s ad serving and measurement platform.

The platform allows brands to reach people across multiple devices, and the deal will have a heavy focus on US and Western Europe, offering its services to the agency’s clients during 2015.

Havas’ clients include Coca-Cola, Ikea, Nike and Sony.

Atlas will be rolled out to clients across the LatAm, Middle East, and APAC regions over the coming months. It will be connected with the agency’s data platform Artemis, giving clients the opportunity to “accurately track all interactions people have with the brand up to (and beyond) the point of purchase,” according to a company statement.

Dominique Delport, global managing director at Havas Media Group, said: “This partnership, coupled with our clients’ data, will enable us to find out how people are interacting with brands and then purchasing products as they travel across devices.

“We have been working with the Atlas team now since June 2014 and are delighted that we have partnered with a platform that can take our analysis beyond previously limiting cookie based offers.”

Atlas director Erik Johnson said: “This is a great step for Atlas and Havas Media Group, bringing the power of people based marketing to more brands in more countries.

“The geographical focus and depth of potential client absorption makes this partnership significant for the industry.”

The partnership will take effect immediately.

When Facebook launched Atlas it formed an exclusive partnership with Omnicom Media Group, whose clients include McDonald’s, Pepsi and Intel.
