Havas Media International has appointed OMDs Aga Giedroyc to head up its operations across Asia Pacific.
Giedroyc, who will relocate from her London-based role as regional account director for OMD International, becomes general manager for Havas Media International across APAC.
She will work closely with the agencys hubs in Singapore and Hong Kong to manage key international clients including Emirates, LG Electronics and Shangri-La Hotels.
Giedroyc will report directly to Havas Media International global chief executive Jorge Irizar, as well as Havas Media Group APAC boss Vishnu Mohan and Havas Media Group, Greater China, head Christophe Cases.
It represents a return to Havas for Giedroyc, who spent three years from 2005 to 2008 working at Havas Media predecessor MPG International.
She left the agency to join UM, where she spent over five years, before joining OMD in January 2014.
The two regional hubs of Havas Media International in Singapore and Hong Kong have witnessed a major growth and expansion on the back of our big global wins in recent years, said Mohan.
[Giedroyc] has the right experience and attitude for this role and I have no doubt that she will prove to be a great asset to the international team.
