Huawei’s top consumer marketer for China, Jeffrey Yang, is the latest name to join the line-up for next month’s Festival of Media Asia Pacific 2015.
Festival of Media Asia Pacific returns to the Capella Singapore on 22-24 March 2015, offering a unique insight into why global brands are attracted to APAC, and how regional brands are expanding globally.
Huawei’s Yang, VP, chief marketing officer for China Area at the brand’s Consumer Business Group Division, will offer an insight into how the smartphone-maker is targeting consumers in its home market.
Last year, Huawei shipped 75 million handsets, up 40% year-on-year. It ranks as the fifth biggest global smartphone brand, behind only Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi and LG.
Yang joins a host of major brands already speaking at Festival of Media Asia Pacific, including regional leaders at Unilever, Nestle, PepsiCo, IndoFoods and GrabTaxi.
It has also been confirmed that Kiip-founder Brian Wong, Spotify Asia managing director Sunita Kaur, and Deepak Ravindran, the founder of ground-breaking tech firm Innoz, will be speaking.
