1 – Summarise yourself in three words.

“On the go”

2 – What made you want to pursue a career in media and marketing?

I was attracted to the energy and excitement that the media sales industry had back in the 1990s. With digital as a nascent industry at the turn of the millennium it was an incredibly exciting time to be a part of a brand new media.

3 – Describe your ideal client.

A challenger brand open to new innovative ideas to bring about growth. The clients that continually push you to be better can be challenging at times but they are the ones that help you become world class.

4 – Name your favourite ever campaign.

Access Self Storage.

5 – Which award win are you most proud of, and why?

The Drum Digital Traders of the Year. It was our first ever award which really marked us on the map as having built the best trading proposition in the market.

6 – Who is the best industry speaker you have seen?

Mike Nolet, former CTO of Appnexus. Brilliantly natural, personal orator with the ability to simplify what many still continue to complicate.

“If you ever decide to tell me that ‘you’re not looking to boil the ocean’ I can only apologise for my response”

7 – Which is your favourite social media platform, and why?

WhatsApp. Perfect for keeping in touch whilst juggling a hectic work and personal schedule.

8 – Where is your ideal meeting venue?

For an informal catch up, anyway that serves good coffee with a relaxed ambience.

9 – What is your favourite restaurant?

Carbones in Manhattan.

10 – What is hot in international media and marketing, and what is not?

This whole notion of understanding how to achieve insight through technology and analytics has global appeal. The opportunities for businesses to understand and target their consumers has never been stronger. However there still continues to be ‘vaporware’ propositions whose only contribution is that of confusion.

11 – Which industry buzzword would you ban?

Very difficult question as there are so many! However, if you ever decide to tell me that ‘you’re not looking to boil the ocean’ I can only apologise for my response to you in advance!

12 – Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?

Still in ad tech in some shape or form. Hopefully somewhere hotter than London!

13 – Finally, who would play you in a movie of your life?

Chico (and vice versa).
