MEC has launched its specialist e-commerce consultancy, MEC Commerce, in the MENA region.
“The MENA region is a fast-growing marketplace with lots of scope for brands looking to succeed in e-commerce,” said MEC UAE general manager Marc Ghosn. “I believe the launch of MEC Commerce will make a real difference to our clients here.”
MEC Commerce EMEA head Mudit Jaju added the branch intends to start by understanding each brand’s unique consumer purchase journey: “Using that insight, we are better poised to create solutions that will grow our clients’ businesses in a world of modern retail.”
MEC launched its regional e-commerce consultancy in April 2015 and has since worked with clients including Pfizer and Nestlé, going on to open MEC Commerce consultancies in the UK, Germany, Poland, Norway, Belgium and now MENA.
In July 2016, MEC Commerce announced several key hires to help clients understand purchasing behaviour.
