This evening at the Natural History Museum under Hope, the new Blue Whale struture, the international media and marketing industry came together to celebrate global excellence in advertising. Can you see yourself in the pictures here
MediacCom was the big winner on the night taking home all three of the legible Grand Prix prizes, Agency of the Year, Campaign of the Year and Agency Network of the Year.
The final Grand Prix of the evening, International Advertiser of the Year, was won by Expedia as two of its brands received three trophies with wins for ‘The Eiffel Tower, All Yours!’, together with Blue 449, and ‘Discover Your Aloha’.
Other big winners included PHD winning a total of four awards from its US and China offices and Blue 449 taking home two.
This year two special awards were also introduced, The Talent Award and Content Creator, and judged by two specialist juries and they chose MEC Global as the winner of the former with its ‘Brave Your Bias’ initiative and The Economist Group taking first in the latter for its innovative and informative content creation for clients.
The event also featured a survival kit, provided by our partner Discovery, as a hidden surprise under each of the dinner tables featuring contents, which Ed Stafford, explorer, adventurer and presenter on the network, has encountered on his trips. It meant that there were plenty of rubber snakes being worn, danced with and having selfies with excited guests.
