MediaCom has taken the number one slot in this years Gunn Report beating PHD Worldwide and OMD Worldwide into second and third place respectively, while WPP took home the title of top holiding company.
The Gunn Media 100, a global ranking of the world’s most awarded and applauded campaigns and companies based on their performance in media competitions around the world, is respected around the globe.

MediaCom clients’ campaigns performed well with the agency taking three of the top ten campaign slots with Hungerithm for Snickers, Bachelor Of Shaving for Gillette and Best Day Of My Life for Shell all winning at various award ceremonies around the world.
Taking the number one slot for global advertisers is Unilever followed by P&G, Mars, Nike and McDonalds, while the top brands list is headed by Nike
This year’s Festival of Media Global in Rome from 13-15 May will feature speakers from all of the brands and advertisers mentioned above, plus the key companies who are currently putting their media contracts out to pitch.
The Gunn Media 100 tracks the performance of the world’s best campaigns, agencies and brands in 30 global, regional and national media competitions. Points are allocated according to the type of award won and are weighted according to the competition/prestige of the award. The methodology follows the approach of the WARC 100 methodology, which was developed in consultation with an independent third party.
