MediaCom has toasted its victory at this month’s M&M Global Awards 2016 with a Champagne breakfast, provided by headline partner NBCUniversal.
The GroupM agency was the big winner at the M&M Global Awards night on 9 September, scooping Agency of the Year for the second year in a row, along with Campaign of the Year for its Ariel ‘Removing the Stains of Social Inequality’ campaign.
Yesterday’s (28 September) breakfast was attended by members of MediaCom’s global leadership team, including worldwide chairman and CEO Stephen Allan, EMEA CEO Nick Lawson, global chief strategy officer Matt Mee and managing partner Nigel Robinson.
The agency’s senior team were joined by Marie Holive, managing director, NBCUniversal International Networks, and Rick Plata, vice president global client partnerships, at MediaCom’s London offices.
Guests networked over a luxurious breakfast comprising bacon, sausage and scrambled egg rolls, sweet pastries, yoghurts and granolas, fresh fruit, juices and coffee – as well as a flute of Champagne.
“It’s a true accolade for us as a global agency network, something that is important to us, and why we continue to strive to win this award”
“I think it is absolutely fantastic; we are really proud to win this recognition again,” said Allan.
“What I have always loved about these awards is they, unlike others, demand a level of capability and skill across multiple markets. The M&M Global Awards have never been about having one great campaign in one market, but about actually demonstrating consistency and the ability of multiple markets to work together as one network for the greater interests of our clients.
“It’s a true accolade for us as a global agency network, something that is important to us, and why we continue to strive to win this award. It continues to motivate us to do even better work for our clients,” he said.
“We are really proud to be the headline partner of the M&M Global Awards. Congratulations again to MediaCom for their amazing success on the night,” added NBCUnivesal’s Holive.
