Mindshare’s UK CEO Mark Creighton is leaving the agency to become the chief operating officer at Dentsu Aegis UK & Ireland.

Creighton has been in his current role at Mindshare for two years. Prior to that he served as chief operating officer.

He will be responsible for driving the Dentsu Aegis’ operating model in the UK and will report to the group’s UK CEO Tracy De Groose.

Joint chief executive of EMEA at Mindshare, Helen McRae, will run Mindshare UK alongside her European responsibilities until a new CEO is chosen.

McRae said: “I’d like to thank [Creighton] for his efforts over the past two years in helping to make the Mindshare UK team one of the best in our global network. I now look forward to working with that team more closely and continuing to redefine the future of media for our UK clients.”

Creighton is scheduled to take up his new role in autumn.
