Cello acquires consumer interaction agency Face
Global insight and strategic marketing group Cello has completed the acquisition of co-creation planning agency Face.

Face focuses on helping brands to interact directly with consumers through the use of co-creation, internet ethnography and social media research. Its client list includes Coca-Cola, O2 and Reckitt Benckiser.

Following the acquisition, founding partner and chief executive of Face, Andrew Needham, will become one of the Cello Group’s managing partners. He will be responsible for expanding the global footprint and capabilities of the agency to help support Face’s large FMCG client base.

Needham will also be in charge of dealing with material capital investment in some of Face’s existing platforms relating to social media, mobile and communities research.

“Our social intelligence capability is developing fast, and becoming a core element of our overall expansion strategy as a Group,” says Cello chief executive Mark Scott.
