Bloomberg Markets launches iPad edition
Bloomberg Markets has launched a dedicated iPad app for a digital version of the magazine, featuring additional multimedia content alongside articles from its print counterpart.

The digital edition, available through the Bloomberg Markets+ app, includes an exclusive video from the magazine’s editor Ron Henkoff. Henkoff gives users a behind-the-scenes look at key stories in that month’s issue. The tablet edition will also contain updated market information, extra video content and deeper background news on companies mentioned throughout the print issue.

The app is free to download from the Apple App Store and comes with a free copy of Bloomberg Markets’ February hedge fund issue. Subscription costs $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year for 12 issues. Existing subscribers of the print magazine and clients of Bloomberg Professional Service can get the digital edition for free.

Ad slots in the first three issues on the Bloomberg Markets+ app have sold out. Sponsors include LCH Clearnet, Bank of America, Alliance Bernstein and BMO Capital Markets.

Bloomberg Markets currently has a global circulation of approximately 375,000, reaching 124,000 across Europe.
