Hasbro, Bandai and Spin Master in Cartoon Network deal

Leading toy brands Hasbro, Bandai and Spin Master have tapped Turner Media Innovations (TMI) to roll out pan-EMEA advertising campaigns across its kids’ channel Cartoon Network.
All three campaigns include on-air sponsorship. Hasbro’s Transformers campaign will include spot activity and an online game. To promote Spin Master’s Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders range, an online campaign will accompany the on-air activity and roll out across nine territories in the region.
Bandai’s Ben 10: Ultimate Alien range will run across 12 markets and will takeover the microsite for the ‘Ben 10: Ultimate Challenge’ game show. On-air sponsorship will be sponsored by Toys R Us in eight of the markets and individual toy retailers in the other four.
“2011 has been a phenomenal year in which we have seen our pan-EMEA advertising business grow from an occasional campaign to three fantastic wins in this key retail period in the run up to Christmas,” says TMI head of sponsorship and promotions for EMEA Adam Eagle.
