Ogilvy acquires Brazilian online performance marketing agency Jüssi

WPP agency Ogilvy has acquired a majority stake of online performance, programmatic and conversion marketing agency Jüssi Intention Marketing.

São Paulo-based Jüssi, whose clients including Google, LinkedIn and Terra, will join the Ogilvy Group in Brazil, which collectively generates revenues of $1.6bn in Latin America and employs 23,000 people.

This acquisition comes as WPP continues to invest in fast growing sectors like digital and develop its networks in Latin America. In 2014, WPP’s digital revenues represented 36% of the Group’s total revenues, with a target to increase this to 40-45% over the next five years.

Jüssi, which was founded in 2010 and employs 120 people, will continue to operate under its current name.
