OgilvyOne promotes Scott Manson to new director of content role

OgilvyOne has promoted its editor-in-chief Scott Manson to the newly-created position of director of content.

Manson has been editor-in-chief since January 2015 and during his time has helped enhance the editorial content for clients including British Gas and EY.

OgilvyOne is tasking Manson with directing the agency’s “pioneering content strategy and creation” and will also focus on new business development.

Before joining OgilvyOne he founded and ran Curve Content, which had a focus on luxury publishing.

Prior to founding an agency, he was an editor at a number of publications including men’s lifestyle magazine Loaded, the High Life customer magazine for British Airways, the Ministry of Sound magazine and Ascend, a magazine for owners of private jets.

Manson said: “My editorial background means I know what great content looks like and how to create it.

“OgilvyOne’s excellent data and audience insight capabilities, combined with incredible creativity, ensures we’re producing the right content for the right people in the right places at the right time. It’s a powerful combination that’s revolutionising the connections our clients have with their customers.”

OgilvyOne has also promoted Martin Delamere to deputy director of content from his previous role as leader of content strategy.
