Joanne Quillan has been appointed as Posterscope’s first chief operating officer to accelerate integration and improve operations.
Quillan starts immediately at the location marketing specialist, leaving her current role as executive director and head of the corporate teams in EMEA at sport marketing agency Wasserman.
Prior to that she worked for over 15 years in the music industry for Sony Music, EMI Records and EMI Music Publishing working across mergers, acquisitions, investments, partnerships and analysis.
“Posterscope sets the market standard in out-of-home,” said Quillan. “I am very much looking forward to joining the leadership team at a very exciting time for the business as it continues to innovate and broaden its offering.”
Quillan will report to chief executive Stephen Whyte and will oversee operations for the Posterscope, PSI, MKTG, Open and Liveposter group of businesses, also taking a significant role in future strategy with a particular focus on partnerships and acquisitions.
“Jo has an impeccable commercial and operational background,” said Whyte. “Her extensive experience in the music industry leading change during transformative periods will be particularly valuable as we expand our data and technology-led, digital services.”
