Samsung’s Nordic marketing director Adam Fors has been appointed as managing director of PHD Sweden.
Fors has 18 years marketing industry experience across all disciplines of brand and marketing, working client side for international companies such as TeliaSonera and, most recently, Samsung.
“I look forward to getting to know my new colleagues and clients,” said Fors. “The technical possibilities in marketing today have never been better, but at the same time, it has never been more complex.
“Therefore, the media agency is more important than ever for brands. With my experience from the client side I believe there is a great direction and differentiation in the PHD ethos, finding a better way, and can’t wait to start executing it with colleagues and clients in the Swedish market.”
Ian Clarke, president of PHD EMEA commented that he is delighted to have Fors join PHD Sweden. “His broad marketing experience fully complements our existing talent across the agency to ensure we continue to find a better way for our clients,” Clarke added.
Last month, Samsung developed its first commercial dedicated to the LatAm region with Leo Burnett Argentina, as part of a new global campaign for the brand, entitled ‘Do what you can’t’.
