Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has promoted Patricia Goh to managing director of its Singapore office.

Goh, who first joined the group in 2008, was previously general manager and responsible for P&L management, strategy and growth.

Ranga Somanathan, chairman, SMG Singapore and chief operating officer Southeast Asia said: “Stepping up to the opportunity, early in the year, she aligned all of us on our purpose, drove clarity on what each of us have to do to play our part in the journey and relentlessly pursued the goals.

“Her ability to be solution-focused within the client’s constraints added to her people-first approach to leadership within SMG are admirable leadership qualities,” he added.

Goh takes up her position immediately and will report into Somanathan.
