Dentsu Branded Agencies (DBA) has hired Telstra director of digital media and content as its chief digital officer for APAC.
Good will be responsible for business strategy for digital media, content and ad sales at Dentsu Aegis Network’s integrated offering, as well as strengthening the agency’s digital capabilities ro drive greater specialisation.
Cook, who has experience working at Proximity Worldwide San Francisco, Clemenger Group and Tribal DDB Worldwide Asia Pacific, will relocate from Australia to Singapore to take up the position.
“Adam is a proven digital marketer in establishing and leading teams, and has a deep understanding of how brands are being built in the digital economy,” said Dentsu Branded Agencies and Denstu Media Asia Pacific chief executive officer Takaki Hibino. “Coupled with his global experience and strategic insight, we believe he is a great addition to the team and can drive us towards a greater degree of digital specialisation.”
This appointment comes following James Hawkins taking on the role of chief digital officer of Dentsu APAC earlier in 2016.
