Carat has promoted its UK executive client officer Fiona Lloyd to the newly-created role of network development officer for Carat Global.
Lloyd has spent over 10 years at Carat, joining the company from Mindshare in 2007 as a business director. She is credited by Carat UK managing director Matthew Hook as a “driving force” behind the internationalisation of the UK agency.
In her new role, London-based Lloyd will report to Carat’s newly-appointed global president Will Swayne.
“I am delighted Fiona will be joining the Carat Global team. She knows our network intimately and has extensive global and local management experience,” said Swayne.
“Fiona is passionate about our clients, our talent and embodies the values of our organisation. She is perfect for the role and will enable Carat to continue to redefine media for our clients around the globe.”
Lloyd added: “It is a very exciting time: Carat has leaned in to the digital economy and refocused our capabilities, not only in how we lead our client’s business through change and redefining what good work looks like, but also in how we structure ourselves, develop our talent, support the right culture and deliver for clients around the globe.”
Last month, it was announced that Carat global president Doug Ray was to become to US chief executive officer, with Dentsu Aegis Network’s global client president for Procter & Gamble Swayne stepping in to his shoes.
