Chinese hospitality group Jin Jiang International Holdings has appointed Wunderman’s Shanghai office as the integrated communications agency of record for mid-market chain Campanile Hotels.
Jin Jiang last year acquired Campanile’s French parent company Groupe du Louvre, and its network of more than 1,100 hotels across 51 markets. The chain became part of Jin Jiang’s Luxembourg-based subsidiary, and it has revealed ambitious plans to open 500 Campanile hotels in China over the coming five years.
WPP agency Wunderman will handle strategy, creative, social media and digital execution for Campanile, with the aim of increasing “brand visibility” and driving sales in China.
