Stuart Capel has been appointed media business director, Phillipa Thomas has joined as PR director, Naomi Martin is social media director and Sofia Hlinovsky rounds off the new hires as senior account director. All roles are newly created.

Pete Bosilkovski (pictured), managing director Leo Burnett Sydney, said: “These new skillsets will not only add greater depth to our strategic and creative product, but will change the way we think about our clients’ problems and the creative solutions we provide. I’m excited about this new chapter for the agency and where it will take us.”

Capel brings 12 years’ media expertise gained in London and Sydney to the role. He most recently held the position of business director at Initiative. He has also worked with brands including Hyundai, Macquarie Bank and SCJohnson.

Thomas has over 12 years’ experience as a PR professional locally and internationally, while Martin is a social content specialist who has driven the social media content strategy and creation for leading FMCG brands.

Hlinovsky has worked in senior account director and manager roles at Y&R, M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather across a range of sectors including finance, fashion and consumer electronics.

“I am excited to welcome Stuart, Phillipa, Naomi and Sofia – they are all exceptional talents and are among the industry’s best. Having hit the ground running, each is already applying their considerable skills to make an immediate impact on our agency and our clients,” added Bosilkovski.
