Omnicom Media Group has launched its PHD network in South Korea, as part of broader efforts to develop the group’s presence in the market.
Proximity Korea general manager HeeYoun Yang joins as managing director of the new PHD South Korea operation. It brings the total number of PHD offices in the Asia Pacific region to 19.
Cheuk Chiang, chief executive of Omnicom Media Group Asia Pacific, said that South Korea – the fifth largest digital market in Asia – offers “huge” potential rewards for global and regional advertisers.
